Why would they want to get rid of a salad? I thought everyone liked a good tossed salad.

Metacam might be something you could ask your vet about. Its a pain killer that comes in a gel form and give orally with a syringe. I've never seen a dog have any sort of negative reaction to it. If the dog won't take it from the syringe you can hide it in a bit of wet food or a treat or something and it still works the same.

Also I have seen and heard good things about accupuncture for dogs.

I'll agree that Sask driver are really bad in general, most of them still have the small town farmer driving through a field thing going on or just plain not paying attention at all. But I have to agree that Alberta drivers take the cake with the highway craziness. From my experience in both B.C., Alberta and Sask, the Alberta drivers seem to be in the biggerst hurry to get back into their home province. It seems to become a single focus for them and no matter what is in front of them they have to get past it asafp even if it means risking the lives of other people on the road. Once they get back into the good old AB they seem to settle down a little bit, but not much.

This is not to say that drivers from all over Canada don't suck as well, but there certainly seems to be a very high percentage of Alberta drivers doing stupid things on the highways.

Hopefully this will just blow over. It a stupid idea and woudl be impossible to enforce properly. As stated in the the article we have a city councilor out here in Saskatoon who keeps trying to get a knife ban in place cause we have a decent number of stabbings and "edged weapon" offences here. We are just starting to get into shootings, so we are a bit behind the times when compared to larger cities. The knife and machete are still the tools of choice here it seems.

The main problem they have had trying to pass this thing here, other than the whole enforcement of it, is how to determine who can and cannot carry a knife. Like when does a tool become a weapon. They can't seem to grasp the fact that a knfe is a tool until there is intent to do harm. People use knives every day on the job or at home and don't stab each other or hold up a gas station.

I carry a knife every day and have yet to stab anyone, but if the law was to pass I would be an instant criminal. I can't see it ever passing here and I hope you all don't have to deal with this for too long either.

Can you trim the metal protruding into the wheelwell without cutting through or into any spotwelds for the panel? I had to do that once and as long as you don't get crazy it worked out just fine.

If you don't mind having another Ford, the Fusion is good. I just bought a 2008 Fusion SEL AWD in the fall and it was awesome all winter. 4 doors so you can carry some people around, Split folding rear seat, large trunk, i'm sure a roof rack would be easy to find too. 3.0L v6 with 230 hp. I recommend getting a black one with the limo tint rear windows. Its been a great car so far and pretty decent on gas.

I'm not sure what it is in B.C. but Gas is sitting at 125.9 right now on the prairies and holding strong.

This thread has pointed out one good thing about the cold winters out here on the prairies. The number of street performers we have here is ver low cause it's too cold be out bustin a move on a street corner at 30 below. unless you're a hooker, they are always out there.

The in your face types don't last long out here. I can't see why anyone would put up with that for long.
