I'd say schumi has been the unluckiest driver so far this season

There's an interesting article on the BBC F1 site about Schumi.
Something about him having an unfair advantage in his glory years . .

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/17816565

" . . .
It was also interesting to hear Mercedes' Michael Schumacher complain about the Pirelli tyres.
He is a professional racing driver, and it's all about looking after your tyres. You do that by getting the right balance on the car.
When I was involved with Bridgestone tyres with Jordan in the early 2000s, in the middle of the tyre war with Michelin, Schumacher and Ferrari had tyres we were not even allowed to look at.
They cost so much money that Bridgestone could not afford to supply them to everyone. And whenever we did have an opportunity to run a derivative of those tyres, our lap times were much, much better.
It's a bit sad that Michael now sees things the other way around, because a lot of his competitiveness in those days was down to the working relationship he and Ferrari had with Bridgestone, one to which nobody else had access.
Now there's a standard tyre, it's down to him and Mercedes to get it working properly, not point the finger at the supplier. . . ."

edit again, sorry. In response to his complaining about the fastest cars not being able to show their worth : He knows his merc is fastest with ducted engine exhaust providing downforce to the rear wing as well as the front wing.

I somewhat agree with Schumi, but really, he should be mindful of what he says since he got special tyres from Bridgestone back in the day. All in all, I like the parity of late. It's down to the teams how they tune [HTML_REMOVED] manage a race instead of an outright spend-fest.

Upcoming race in Spain could be a good indication of who'll be on top as it's the first Euro race of the year. Jackie Stewart is tipping DiResta to Ferrari as Alonso's running mate. Does he know something, or just an educated guess?

DiResta is a Mercedes junior guy…

Bit of a boring race in Monaco. What can you expect when it's so hard to pass? A record 6 different winners in the first 6 races. Have to admit, I let out a whoop as Schumi took pole position.

Another DNF for Schumi :(. Unluckiest driver this year. I hope that the poor results don't affect his decision on next year. He has shown that he has the pace. I believe he can still get a podium at least

Brawn says he can stay, if he's competitive.
