So me and my kid have recently got dirt bikes and we're exploring the fraser valley trails, we've been up in Stave, Harrison areas and went to Vedder with a few guys this weekend. On Vedder we found a few trails and some fire road stuff going up and around the back side, we did see a few bikes up there and saw some marked trials trails and i'm wondering if there's some decent intermediate dirt biking up there we didnt find. Most of the fire road stuff dead ended pretty quick and Im sure it wouldn't be kosher to take regular trail bikes on the Green trials trails.
e're in Mission so if there are any other areas with decent trail riding within an hour's drive of there it would be great to hear about them.
PM me if its not common knowledge, don't know if dirt bike trail locations are as sensitive as MTB trails.
Any help or directions would be appreciated
here's Dantes post ride on Vedder Sunday afternoon,
.
testy.
become a VMTA member and ask for the detailed version you can open on your comp.
Just look at the mtb trails compared to the moto (multiuse lol). you're freetard will never shuttle Vedder again.
The greens and blues on the lakeside are fairly easy to find and follow.
The SDBA's Squamish lavaflow trails also rock for beginner/intermediates.
Nice! thanks Heckler..

Vedder is great a huge amount of trails to explore but it gets greasy in the wet.
Some great easy riding at the tailings pond, bit more options for beginners there.
Once you feel confident the lower trails at mcnutt are great
That said kamloops is the most fun you can have as an intermediate, its so worth the trip
Vegas and Interbike was off the hook so I needed 3 days at onion to get back to normal…ha ha

In Chelan now, riding local tomorrow (Pots Peak and a bit of Devil's Backbone).
Then meeting Chunky on Thursday near Entiat to throw down miles of smiles.
Trying to get Ned to show us round too.

DBone is pretty high qual, just don't look down. Do the big figure 8 out of Lake Creek campground- up North Tommy, around Klone, back down Middle Tommy then up Lake Creek, up Angle Peak and then back down Lake Creek. Perhaps a lap of Duncan Hill will suit too? 130 switchbacks up you go!
Then, come back down next year for some Gifford Pinchot action.
Not looking good for Sunday Matt. Unless a miracle happens.
