CKNW saying we are getting results of the referendum sometime before noon today….

…. So which way is this going to go? I think tight vote, w HST here to stay. But I wouldn't bet a lot of money on it.

Even if it goes, it won't be for years.

This trip to Kelowna was definately an undertaking - Liam and I had been planning this project for 24 hours. We worked really hard to pull out all the stops in this video. We had slo-mo goggle shots; time lapses; pedal flips; outrageous product shots; unloading and loading the bike; walking through the field with your hand in wheat. At the end of the day this trip was all about just getting out and riding with all my friends.

54.7% for "yes", ie to scrap.

Silly.

who is more motivated… those angry and wanting to "get rid" of a tax, or those that see that doubling their consumption tax is likely a good thing for them

i'm surprised it was so close. i had 61% in my office pool

this space is intentionally blank, other than this note about it being blank.

Interesting way to phrase a question, did you phrase the question on the ballot too? ;)

not saying that is actually what the vote is, but that is how the public saw it

40% of the people were going to vote against it because the liberals brought it in.

40% undecided and pissed off about the new tax but open to changing their view

20% took politics out and out of those likely 90+ % voted to keep the tax

this space is intentionally blank, other than this note about it being blank.
