Electrical work near Victoria

Hi all,

I'm thinking of making the move from Nova Scotia to Victoria after Christmas. I work as an apprentice electrician and was wondering if there was much work around the Victoria area. I have searched online but have never found the big job search sites to be much help. If any of you are electricians, or know electricians, how is the employment scene now with the shady economy? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
G

You should move to Fort McMurray and hangout with the rest of the Newfies.. Lots of trades work up hear, just no riding.

is going big on a bike the only way to get you stoked on the sport? what happened to riding with your bros, travelling, and riding unique places, to get people stoked on riding?

fines are useless. there needs to be more punches to the throat.

My friend's boyfriend got offered a job in Fort McMurray. He will be getting double what he makes now in Victoria for an electrical company. But who in their right mind would want to live in Fort McMurray, regardless of the money.

I just moved there.

When my friend moved here a few years ago he just called electric companies from the phone book, he didn't make it past A before he got a job…

Work at the base. They're hiring electricians now. If you're interested PM me and I'll see what I can find out about what's available.

Kind of. I drive a truck this size but it has no dirt box and pulls a huge flat bed trailer for moving dozers.

Plus I really love bucking rails off a strippers ass. And there is lots of that up hear and fat chick.

you just show up and get that job, or did you have to do a few rails off a peelers ass first?
