Is Park and Fly the best option?

I'll need to be there from July 1 to 6, this year. I printed off a coupon that gives me a discount.

Wkly 6[HTML_REMOVED]7 Day free: 89.75
Discount: 29.80
GST: 3.63
Parking Tax: 12.59
Estimated Charges: 76.17

I save 5 dollars by paying from June 30, due to HST.

Is there anything better?

I'm in Whistler.

There are two of us, and I greyhound ticket is about $25 from here, so 50 each way. Then Skytrain from downtown, $10. Total for two people both ways is about $120.

It's looking more economical and convenient to drive, even counting the gas I will be using.

I looked into this a few years back and I think that is the best way to go. For me personally it's worth a few bucks to have my vehicle there when I land so the skytrain route wasn't going to happen.

find somewhere to park on the skytrain route. Lots of side streets.

the train pulls right in the terminal, so the additional walk from your car to skytrain gets cancelled out by not having to walk from the parking lot.

Try the long-term parking lot. Free shuttle to the terminal. Rate is $10.49 per day plus tax. Coupon to get this rate is on their website, at:

park in Richmond near one of the hotels where you can get free parking on the street then take the free airport hotel shuttle to the airport.

Park on the street near my place. I'm one block from the sky train.

go to casino and win big. then take limo to and from airport.

Being an agoraphobic adrenaline junkie would be pretty convenient, because you could get your rush from just going to the store to get some milk instead of having to jump off a mountain or out of an airplane.

Oh oh, car died today. We'll see what happens, but maybe this is an issue I won't need to worry about!

I think it's my battery. When the key was in, there was no action other than the Check Engine light, but after I took it out there was a ticking underneath my glove box. It hasn't exploded yet, so I'm pretty sure it's not a bomb.

We'll see what it turns out to be. It's an old Cavalier my grandma gave me; 1998, but with 60 000K on it.

Make sure you have some cash on you as those airport parking lots don't take debit.

Word to the wise. Make sure you look into what Park and Fly considers to be a day. Seems like every time I park at YVR I get dinged for an extra day or two depending on drop off and pick up time.

The long term parking lot takes credit cards.

Yeah, the Park and Fly guys have robbed me too. I don't go there anymore (and the long term lot is cheaper anyways, not to mention more convenient because when you return you don't have to wait around while some random guy disappears to go dig your car out). The long term lot considers a day to be any 24 hour period. They also have an hourly rate, so if you park for 25 hours, they charge you for 1 day and 1 hour, not 2 days.
