I am looking at getting my PAL and getting into hunting and shooting.

I know of places to hunt in BC ect. but where can one do some long-range outdoor target shooting around the lower mainland or within driving distances.

there is a small indoor .22 range near my house which is rad but variety is nice.

Im just trying to see what are the options to practice shooting once I get my PAL and all.

thanks y'all

Mission has a rod and gun club on Red mountain, across the road from the Bear mountain DH course.

POCO - 200m range - http://www.pcdhfc.com/

Being an agoraphobic adrenaline junkie would be pretty convenient, because you could get your rush from just going to the store to get some milk instead of having to jump off a mountain or out of an airplane.

they also call me "balloon"

There is an outdoor range in Abby too. Just a little East of the Whatcom Rd. exit. It's called Ridgedale, I think.

Just remember when your spent shells eject they actually fly 2 towns over thereby alleviating you of any responsibility of having to pick up after yourself.
better bring a bunch of garbage on your trip to the pit as well cause, you know, you need something to shoot at.

Ha Ha! Made you look.

Hey man, I pick up after myself. Shoot five off, pick up 5 shells. As for targets… my preference are those propane tanks you get at walmart for camp stoves. Light a small fire next to it, shoot it and BLAM! Awesomeness ensues. I pick up the remnants of those as well…

Shut up hippie;)
I pick up my garbage and other peoples when I go out shooting. Nothing pisses me off more then seeing garbage out on the logging roads.
RIght now my truck box is full of 12 gauge shells and shot up propane tanks.

Mine is 1942 with the same markings. Such a fun gun to shoot. I'll give you $600 and my 91/30 for your M1?
