Or one to get too excited by consumer electronics. (Disclaimer, I use Android - Nexus 5 - great stuff and a Macbook ; So i'm bipartisan haha)

But damn, what Apple put out today was seriously impressive. I'm also a big mechanical watch fan; traditional watch designs and engineering turn me on. So for me to actually like the Apple watch says a lot.

Props to Apple for managing to design and create such functional, beautiful and expensive goods.

How they manage to consistently out-do everyone else is beyond me.

Now, I just wish they moved manufacturing to America and treated workers better.

What does everyone think of their new offerings?

I don't understand award shows. Perhaps they're important, perhaps they're just a way to sell more albums and movie tickets. Either way, I'm sure they are fun to attend and bask in the glow of beautiful people and drink some free drinks.

Anywho, I think LORDE is an awesome pop musician. So how is it that she won best rock video for her track 'Royals' - she wears a lot of black, she must be a rock musician right?

She was up against Arctic Monkeys, Black Keys and Linkin Park. All groups who use guitars and live drummers….key to rock music no?

We happened to be at the Vet yesterday and there was a book there dated back to the mid 90's which mentioned that Riverview was a great place to take your dog for a walk (maybe somewhat less great if you were in the hospital in the preceding years….).

There seems to be pretty well zero information on-line as to whether the public have access to the grounds any more. Anyone know?

I used to work on the Riverview grounds until last year and Dog walking is welcome. The site does close to the public at 9pm (hours may have changed) but you are free to explore the grounds with pets before then.

Be aware that there is 24 hour security with cars that drive around the site and most buildings are alarmed. So don't try exploring too deeply.

Also, photography is not allowed on site due to patient privacy rights.
