SS X2 is a better light than the X3. Lighter and brighter. Three seasons of winter riding and no issues. Love the value.

Shed head!

Anyone run the Cygolight from MEC? I've been burned once before by promises of awesome light and cheap prices so don't mind shelling out a little for a brand name.

With a warrant like MEC offers, why not give it a go?

Sorry, I meant that I'm sketched out by China direct lights and don't mind the prices of the Cygolight. I'm not afraid of my house burning down like Buster Bluth but I am leery.

I'm giving lighmalls.com a go for a pair of Solarstorm X2. For $50 CAD shipped I'm not risking much.
