To hell with the chain saws time for some ladder bridges. Take what nature does to your trail and add a feature.

Yeah the triple rolls on Severed are a great example of adding cool features to a trail after big trees come down. It's not always feasible though. Depends where they come down and what condition the tree is in. Often enough the tree is a rotten mess which is why it fell over. Or the tree falls across the bottom of a drop.

Debate? Bikes are made for riding not pushing.

yeah, maybe take a look at the deadfall before going all "they should build a ramp over that!". Rotten tree, blind corner, steep pitch. Enough said.

Saw you up there with your saw cutting that log today. Thanks for your time. Trail is running pretty well.

Funny, I thought there were two down from the Trailforks reports. Either they were duplicate reports, or someone helped out and moved a different blowdown out of the way.

Either way - thanks for the help guys! Trailforks is so useful to know there's a problem.

Big tree down on upper dales, maybe 12" dia and it's a long sucker. Def a chainsaw show.

It's already noted on trail forks.

There's a tree down right across the new drop over the stump at the start of Pingu.

Anyone know how high the snowline is on Seymour? Looking out my kitchen window across the inlet this morning it seems like Mushroom lot down should be ok. Had a look on Trailforks but no reports since last rain/snow.

cheers

Mushroom down is good. CBC has about 6 inches at top.

the closure is kind of funny when the whole thing is built out of stone but it is the best trail on the shore.
