You need this

Everyone who plays hard or is self employed should have disability insurance. Even if you get in a car accident don't expect icbc to come running to the rescue or EI to last forever(poor Adam west).
My roommate has been living off this disability insurance for a year and a half waiting for a icbc settlement. Can pay out from 5 years to a life time.

Ride with peace of mind.

i've got it.

We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

My insurance down here in the states has this. Good thing. I broke my elbow at Whistler July 18th and have been out of work since with another month to go. My disability insurance will pay up to $10,800. PHEW!

Then they said, But Dave, we're sisters.

Great for self-employed..

If you are a working stiff though, you can be covered through your employer if they offer Short-Term / Long-Term disability. Short Term disability is optional coverage for employers. If they do not have short-term, then you can apply for disability insurance through Service Canada. If you live in Canada, and you pay taxes, then you are eligible for disability.

If you have Healthcare benefits through your employer, then you should have long-term disability. It kicks in after 3 months, during which time you could be collecting E.I. or disability.

Short / Long Term disability is usually 70% of your income, and disability is 55%.

This trip to Kelowna was definately an undertaking - Liam and I had been planning this project for 24 hours. We worked really hard to pull out all the stops in this video. We had slo-mo goggle shots; time lapses; pedal flips; outrageous product shots; unloading and loading the bike; walking through the field with your hand in wheat. At the end of the day this trip was all about just getting out and riding with all my friends.

Less expensive than not having any income. It's amazing how quick you can blow through savings when there is no money coming in.

the price varies, more per month the higher the monthly pay out and no waiting period

or less if you are willing to wait 30 days and take less per month.

I chose 2500 with no waiting and you can add disease like cancer or heart attack for 20

pm me for my agents contact info if you want.

Truth. I'm about to get $3000 for my broken clavicle. I'd say that's worth a few weeks of discomfort.

In all seriousness though, I don't know anyone who can afford to lose their income and not immediately lose most of their possessions and their way of life. Having the proper coverage can be the difference between pulling through or pulling out.

LOL. Guy I know went on a blind date with this girl. About halfway through the date she asked him how much life insurance he had.

Being an agoraphobic adrenaline junkie would be pretty convenient, because you could get your rush from just going to the store to get some milk instead of having to jump off a mountain or out of an airplane.

they also call me "balloon"

She might have figured it was a clever way of sussing out how much money he made as many Insurance companies will only insure you for up to %30 of your wage.
