i don't mind taking a break from whistler (although it would be nice to have it open at least until the beginning of november) but last year i rode all through the winter - it was awesome!

no hating please. winter is amazing. ride your bike on the shore… ride your board in whistler. how much better can it get? if you aren't into that you can drink peppermint schnapps and hot chocolate and ride other things???? :)

ride a horse! 1200 pounds of raw muscle, power, grace, and sweat between your legs…
but riding bikes is still fun!

oh man..best of both worlds.

blue skies every day…dry powder from top all the way down to the start of the bike park…then suddenly its 15-20degrees, and tacky all the way down to the village…

and its like that every day…

bring your boards/skis and bikes every day…

mmmm hmmmmm :D

dear DW,
since you got like a million bucks now, can i borrow $2850 for a Revolt frame?

thanks,
steve

Anyone find out anything more?

Are they going to keep it open longer than the planned Oct. 13th?

As of right now (Friday of the last weekend) there are NO PLANS TO KEEP THE BIKE PARK OPEN. There is already snow on the top of the Garbonzo Trails (not much but a start). I'd say the chances of any extended opening are slim to none.
BRING ON THE FREAKIN SNOW, YO!
