The roof the roof the roof is on fire, was the story this morning as the John Henry crew arrived for their morning shifts. The roofers accidentally set the roof on fire. It burned through a couple layers of the roof but thankfully nothing on the inside seems to be damaged. So rest assured that your bike is safe inside and we will let you know when it is ready to be picked up. Stay tuned for more updates as we receive them but for now the shop is closed until further notice.

deals on half burned stuff?

is going big on a bike the only way to get you stoked on the sport? what happened to riding with your bros, travelling, and riding unique places, to get people stoked on riding?

fines are useless. there needs to be more punches to the throat.

No it's not.
Wiki foam

The most popular cus it safe for water run off drains.
Protein foams

Protein foams contain natural proteins as the foaming agents. Unlike other synthetic foams, protein foams are bio-degradable. They flow and spread slower, but provide a foam blanket that is more heat resistant and more durable.

Protein foams include regular protein foam (P), fluoroprotein foam (FP), alcohol resistant fluoroprotein foam (AR-FP), film forming fluoroprotein (FFFP), and alcohol-resistant film fluoroprotein (AR-FFFP).

Protein Foam from non-animal sources is preferred because of the possible threats of biological contaminants like prions.

Wow, awesome. The foam from most extinguishers is super corrosive, I guess the stuff the pro's use is different. Yay firefighters!

The shop is dirty, smelly, and there is tons of people running around. But we ARE open for business today. Please keep the dogs at home for the next couple days.

Ninja - I don't know how bio degradable this foam was. They put it all in garbage bags and drove off and came back 15 minutes later.
