what would u rather have: sony dej1000 discman (http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=[HTML_REMOVED]langid=EN[HTML_REMOVED]dept=9[HTML_REMOVED]WLBS=fs-web3[HTML_REMOVED]sku_id=0665000FS10014302[HTML_REMOVED]catid=[HTML_REMOVED]newdeptid=9) or the sony mzn 505s mindisc (http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=[HTML_REMOVED]langid=EN[HTML_REMOVED]dept=9[HTML_REMOVED]WLBS=fsweb9[HTML_REMOVED]sku_id=0665000FS10013306[HTML_REMOVED]catid=[HTML_REMOVED]newdeptid=9). the minidisc holds so much more music but i already have lots of music on cds. also curious bout the sound quality of the mindisc. but which would u rather get and why? pros and cons of both or any would be nice. thnx.

A-track? You mean 8-track?

MP3 CD player I'd say… more music at a time. Thing about MP3 players is that you can only keep x minutes of music.

ive already got an ok mp3 player so i want to either go with the mindisc with the compact size and the ability to hold a large amount of music or with the discman which has killer sound and i like the remote feature, plus it makes switching music from my car to discman so much easier. oh ya i forgot to add the link to for the discman (http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=[HTML_REMOVED]langid=EN[HTML_REMOVED]dept=9[HTML_REMOVED]WLBS=fs-web3[HTML_REMOVED]sku_id=0665000FS10014302[HTML_REMOVED]catid=[HTML_REMOVED]newdeptid=9)

id go discman all the way…but thats just me. I ALWAYS carry my discman around and with the amount of cds that i have i just cant see changing to minidisc anytime. It just doesnt seem worth it. Id have to convert all my cds to minidisc or be constantly changing songs on a few discs. Dunno thats just how i view it so ill stick with my discman for a while now untill dvd audio becomes mainstream.

you sound like a jerk!

MINIDISC - hands down!

1. Never skips since the music is buffered before you hear it
2. Its pinner
3. Can fit tonnes of music on a minidisc
4. Super fast upload/download to/from pc
5. One AA last 40+ hours

this is the minidisc I have. **
