I'm definitely not a guy who likes to listen to music while riding, just personal preference though. I like to pay attention to my bike and my surroundings.

I have friends that ski with headphones. It's impossible to talk to them on the chairlift ("Sorry, what did you say?") and I hate it if you're with someone and can't find them, you're yelling but know they can't hear you over their music. Annoying for sure.

Too bad, if you hit it at the right time and know where to go whistler is unreal

Nah, I'm pretty sure there's always tons of people and it gets tracked out soooo fast. Not a very good place to ski, honestly.

I'll be there for telefest again this year. Wooo!

This is why I run 180's on my single speed. With no options to change, more leverage is better. Along with a wider bar, I feel I get more leverage for the steep nasties.

You could run shorter cranks for more clearance and just change the gear ratio to compensate. It would feel the same, but have shorter cranks, no?

When I load up the board in Google Chrome, sometimes I'll try to get in and it will say "Bad Request" with a completely white page. But when I immediately go load it up in Firefox, no problems.

Is this a board problem, or a browser problem, or…?

If I was looking for something a little different, has anyone been up to Sky Pilot/Mountain Lake Hut? I've tried a couple times from the road at the top of the Furry Creek hill but never managed to find a way in there. I've also heard you can get there from near the Apron parking lot on the Chief?

Hey Gang,

My girlfriend and I are looking to do a one night overnighter camping trip on the 29th to try out our new winter sleeping bags! We don't have a ton of time, so would prefer to not have to drive up to Whistler/Duffy or anything.

I've never done any snow camping on the NS, where's the best place? Somewhere where the skiing might be alright, it's fine if it takes a couple hours to skin in to.

Any advice is appreciated!

Hey all!

I work in a biology lab and we're looking to get access to beavers. In particular, access to beaver poop (as fresh as possible) to identify what lives in their stomach. Sounds gross, but it will be some really cool biology for sure. We'd be willing to travel somewhere to get samples.

If you have access or know anyone with access like this to beavers, either captive or wild, it would be hugely appreciated! I can't even find anywhere that has captive beavers in/around Vancouver (Vancouver Zoo doesn't even have any!). Any info you've got would be useful :)
