Do you have an amp? Wiring kit? Very very easy installation if you have everything you need. Those parts should come with instructions.

Well you'll need an amp, and a deck with pre-out, which most aftermarket decks will, but if you've still got the stock radio you certainly won't. Of course you'll also need a sub-box.

More importantly though, can you even fit it in your truck? I don't know how deep it is but I doubt it's going to fit in a reg. cab truck very well.

Edit: I'm not sure that you actually need a deck with pre-out, that's just the standard way external amplifiers are usually hooked up.

1. buy 12" sub.
2. ?????
3. profit.

Being an agoraphobic adrenaline junkie would be pretty convenient, because you could get your rush from just going to the store to get some milk instead of having to jump off a mountain or out of an airplane.

Make sure you got a truck box for the sub.

Go buy a cheap ass sony explode deck with aux in for your pop and pre out for sub control. Get the wiring kit for your truck.

Get a cheap ass 100WATT + RMS amp. Get a 4 gauge wiring kit with fuses.

Get someone who knows what they are doing to hook it up.
