Looking for something similar to kyle straight knee pads. And something that's instock at a shop in the lower mainland. Everywhere in Langley is sold out of anything. I don't want shin pads, just some sort of knee pad that won't move around excessively, or restrict movement.

Suggestions, or directions?

well, as you probably know, you are limited to 661 kyle straits or evo from 661. otherwise, there's RF DIG knee or troy lee t-bone

but I found both of those to move around.

different bikes should have some in stock, check MEC for 661 dig, cove or other shops should have the rest

Check with Skiis [HTML_REMOVED] Biikes (Snowcovers) on 4th to see if t hey have the POC knees?

This trip to Kelowna was definately an undertaking - Liam and I had been planning this project for 24 hours. We worked really hard to pull out all the stops in this video. We had slo-mo goggle shots; time lapses; pedal flips; outrageous product shots; unloading and loading the bike; walking through the field with your hand in wheat. At the end of the day this trip was all about just getting out and riding with all my friends.

The RF DIG knee is very similar to a Kyle Strait, but they fit me better. I have been using them for a year on the Shore and at Whistler and they stay in place and are very comfortable. Pretty good price as well. Different, MEC, or Obsession should have 'em

I have a pair of the Fox knee pads and was very happy with them until they started to fall apart on me. My LBS was going to warranty them for me but I ended up moving out of the area unexpectedly. I really liked them otherwise so hopefully my experience is not typical.

Tantalus has some of the EVO knees, EVO XClite, and a couple of other pads on sale.

There's nothing better than an Orangina after cheating death with Digger.

I am using the Tomcats as well, like em. Have no exp w/Kyle Straits. Didn't like the veggies. On Top has the Tomcats as well.

Check out the O'neal pads, I think they make 2 models of knee only. I tried on the Sinner pads, they fit really good and felt super snug, so I don't think I would get any movement in them. I am going to buy a set soon. I think Maple Ridge Cycles has them, just across the bridge from Langley.

Experience Cycling in Maple Ridge has tons of Kyle Straits. Just bought a pair yesterday funny enough.

I'd throw out another recommendation for tomcat's too….I used them until I decide I wanted a bit of shin protection again….I tired the strait's and found them a bit bulky and never really stayed in place, the tomcats never slipped or moved around, even in crashes….

+1 for the Race Face Dig pads… They've got a bit more protection than a Kyle Strait [HTML_REMOVED] they seem to be a bit harder wearing too. I wear them for everything from XC to Bike Park.
If you're in Langley, Travis at Velocity can get you a pair.
