Norco 4-Hun Fr. Tire???

Anybody know what Kenda tire (model/size) comes on the front of the 2003 Norco 4 - Hun? The Norco website says that the tires are Kenda DJ semi slick 24, but the front is definately not Semi-Slick. It's a fat nobby. See the 4 - Hun here:

http://norco.com/bikes/2003bikes/4hun.htm

Is that a Kinetics? Does anyone have one, ridden one, sold one? Kenda tires website says they only make a rear Kinetics in 24", and it's a 2.6" width. Could it be a rear? Hit me up

Its a kenda kinetics stick e 2.6 i think if its not a 2.6 then its a 2.3
Its probibly a rear theres little difference between the front and rear. Ive rode a kinetics rear up front before but it sucked i duno about a stick e never rode one.

I know, my neighbour has the 03 version, and it is definetly not the Stick-E version. Well, norco probably messed up again, seeing as they sent him a Large frame instead of a Medium

ugh..you people :)

let me get up and check the resident 03 4hun's tire…

well our 4hun has a 26/2.6 kenetics stick-e front tire…

usually i would agree with lunatik..but the kenda has been far more reliable than the 26x2.8 mich…odd huh?

dear DW,
since you got like a million bucks now, can i borrow $2850 for a Revolt frame?

thanks,
steve

Can anyone comment on how a 24/24 with a 2.6 up front and a slick out back rides (like the 4-Hun)? I'm looking to set up my bike like that.

As of now, I have a Kinetics 26x2.35 and a Hookworm out back. Just wanna know for when I switch to 24/24. Note: the 24" rear and the hookworm are being built, so still haven't tried out the nobby/slick nor 26/24 combo yet.

 No way. That Michelin grabs onto everything.

But Stick-E compound tires are extremely grippy. Everyone has their own name for it, Stick-e, supertacky, whatever comp

stick-e tires are excellent for the front on pavement. For rear on pavement, they wear el fasto
