Marz 888r on hardtail???????

I have the 888r's and I wanna build up a hardtail. Some people say that it would be to tall for the Evil Imperial cause of the geometry of the frame.

What hardtail frame would you choose to put this fork on?????????

if you were going to put that on any HT, it would be a banshee morphine… but an 8" fork on a hardtail is just wrong IMO… i had a 6" DC on my old HT and that was border line performance wise.. any more and you will definatly get quirkey handling traits… but you will definatly be the first

I suppose it could be done but I think you'd be much happier with something smaller. The 888 is a big, tall fork (you can reduce the travel to 7" but still), plush fork that is going to feel way out of place on a hardtail.

If you're hell-bent on putting it on a hardtail then an Imperial is probably one of your best choices. A Banshee Morphine would be another. Those are the only DH-esque hardtails I can think of off hand but there are probably a couple others. You want to look for a bombproof headtube, and a wheelbase that is long enough to balance out the fork.

run 24" front wheel w/ 26" rear. it'll look funny, but that is your best bet if you want the 888 on a ht

Go for it. I would get the 7" kit for the fork. Or buy a slider. But I would only run it on a 243 :)

i want to puta 888 on my 250 cc
