DHF's - which compound for bike parking, also cheapest source?

I have 26x2.5 dual ply DHF 3C's that are pretty worn and I want to replace them. Trying to find them online and am a bit confused. CRC has "MaxxPro 60a" and "Super Tacky 42a" - anyone know what sku the MaxxPro 60a is? I can't find it on Maxxis' website: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/ca/en/maxxis-minion-dhf-front-mtb-tyre-dual-ply/rp-prod4620

TBS has dual ply DHF 3C Max Grip for $69 and free shipping on $149+ orders so I'll probably just grab em from there unless anyone knows of a cheaper source? Bike-discount.de only has the Super Tacky for $65.

Also been thinking about trying a Super Tacky up front for more grip and 3C in the rear, but I'm guessing that won't last very long in Whistler in summer conditions.

I do not switch tires and just run the same thing till they are worn. Been very happy with DHF EXO on trail bike and DHF dual ply 3C on park bike. If I was going to try Schwalbe, I should be looking at the Magic Mary DH VertStar right? What's the cheap Magic Mary BP Dual version about (besides being 1400g).

Maxxpro 60a = hard compound throughout. Long life. Great for dry, Summer bike parking.
Super Tacky 42a = super soft throughout. Will wear fast, but stick to wet roots and rocks reasonably well, even when worn.
3C MaxxGrip = 42a down the middle, 40a on the corners, all on an underlying layer of 60a to give good knob support.

The latter are Maxxis 'best' tyres for DH racing, but once the soft upper layer of rubber is worn off, you're back to the 60a rubber which gives limited stickyness in the wet. If you're cheap and like to run tyres longer than you probably should, the super tackys will provide good wet weather grip for longer.

I always rode super tacky's until I switched to Schwalbe. I'm running their Super Tacky equivalent.

Extra grip is nice. I've yet to catch an edge in the park.

I found the difference in wear between ST and 3c to be negligible. Order the super tacky.

Super tacky, full DH casing. Replace often. Your unbroken clavicle will thank you.

Check with North Shore Bike Shop. Matt had a post on Pinkbike the other day with a sale on Maxxis 26 rubber.

Thanks everyone, Super Tacky it is. Probably get about 15 to max 20 days in the park a season and because I suck and am not railing anything so I wear tires pretty slowly :). I'll take all the grip I can get.

shirk: I'll call up NSBS and ask, would rather buy local if price is close. Dunbar was $85 on 26" DHF in DH casing (3C I think). CRC is $57 on ST's.

I thought he had another post but I think it's this one.

$75 on sale 26 DHF's and his regular all the time pricing on Maxxis rubber is $90.

Thanks, close enough pricing to avoid the hassle of shipping. Will pop in on the way down from Whistler tomorrow.
