Well if you want some drool material we have hit. Just in today is the first 2011 Cannondale Jekyll Carbon 1 in the lower mainland. I would take a picture but our little camera here does not do the bike justice. From the carbon frame, to the new Dyad rear shock, all the way down to the Black Flag carbon rims this thing is kitted out.

At 28.6 pounds this is a great fighting weight for what this bike is capable of. It is easily my pick for all mountain bike of the year.

Swing by and take a look. We are expecting more alloy and carbon models in the near future. Keep posted for this bikes bigger brother the Claymore soon.

P.S. Sorry about the post in the gear forum I was on my days off and had one of my staff members who is new to posting on nsmb do a quick write up.

Just checked with my rep this is possibly the only Jekyll in Canada. I found that pretty cool.

Is it invisible?

This trip to Kelowna was definately an undertaking - Liam and I had been planning this project for 24 hours. We worked really hard to pull out all the stops in this video. We had slo-mo goggle shots; time lapses; pedal flips; outrageous product shots; unloading and loading the bike; walking through the field with your hand in wheat. At the end of the day this trip was all about just getting out and riding with all my friends.

How are you liking the ride of it so far? Had a chance to demo one and was super impressed by the ride of it. For drool material we just had the 2011 Scalpel Ultimate brought by the shop. That bike is lighter then my winter road bike by a mile.

Only had it for three weeks and still getting it dialled in. The XX front chainrings at 26/39 are too steep for alot of the climbing I like to do so I just swapped them out with a 22/32/BG. I was not enjoying the steeper gears so I think this will help. The DYAD is really quite good since you can set up the 90mm and 150mm independantly so when in "elevate" it is nice and tight and when in "flow" it's plush. The Talas 32 forks are a good match to the DYAD. The frame is really stiff. I think Peter Denk fixed all the errors he made with the Genius on this design.

It's light at about 26.5 lbs (nowhere near the 25.4 that was reported on some sites). Jury is still out on Crank Bros wheels.

I'm pretty sure that I won't be missing the Rize at all in a few more weeks.
