Mt. Washington

Mt Washington wont be open until December 8th but anyone who ski's there know this is a good sight. Anyone have any idea of the base right now? I wonder if the only thing holding them back from opening is the lack of staff up there?

can you keep this thread up to date - i'd make a weekend trip over there for a ski weekend.

I can keep it up do date periodically, yeah. The pictures in the links keep on renewing themselves because its a feed from a webcam.

I dont know if you have ski'd there before but there is a fair amount of new terrain opened up with the installation of the boomerang quad chairlift that goes up the front and back of the mountain.

never ski'd on the island, no. just everything else in BC; haha.

Good stuff. I still have to ski the new backside. I was there last year in Feb and the mountain had a fresh 8 inches of pea soup with a thick crust under it.

theres a Mt. Washington Sticky'd thread. pretty pointless to keep this updated. But the mountain got hit hard by the snow storm and looks like we got a good dump of snow.

I thought it was opening the 6th!

I think they are waiting for 1 more good dump I heard something about the conditions.
