alright, got the new "bike" magazine today, and starting on p. 40, theres a 7 page article on whistler.
out of curiosity, is anyone able to point themselves out in the photo on page 45, standing in line for the lift?
just thought it'd be cool to be able to say "hey, i know this person ::points:: " to a friend….

Issue has some redbull a few good random shots and the shistler article, so yeah it's prob worth buying. I like the writing in the dust on the back of one of the emergency trucks. One window says "You stack we pack" other window has "You fall we haul" written in the dirt. :lol:

zaskar - the issue is decent, as far as "Bike" goes. there is a short movie review on NWD3, some pissy letters to the editors, an article on the redbull rampage 2, 8 pages of pics from the rampage, some of them sequences - they're pretty cool, and the whistler article starts out saying "A-line is an addiction - a substance so good, its bad…. A-line had more traffic this past summer than any other mountain bike trail in the world".
i dont know if thats out of awe, respect, or complaint, but, i think its a kind of cool opener…

whether or not its worth your $4usd, or $5cad, is up to you. how important is that $5 to ya? would you rather read the mag, buy a 24-pack of pop(or soda), some alcomahol, gas for a weekend, or stop by taco bell or make a double-big-mac?? i'd say thats what it all comes down to.
