This is a great article, and great resource for less experiences folks in the used market. I've sold my share of used bikes, but I'm usually known for posting so much information in my ads that people probably don't even read it all. If I've disclaimed absolutely everything, then at least I can feel morally satisfied with the sale.  Currently selling a "classic" Chromag hard tail, and the first thing I listed was fork service history, and the fact that it needs seals ASAP. For the record, I also bled the brakes, put in fresh pads and fresh headset bearings, and it's got brand new quality rubber \(tubeless WITH new sealant\).  The guy who's picking it up will be either be super pleased, or be completely oblivious to the quality he received. Either way that's a win.
