Rough-out boots end up looking smooth over time so a saddle would probably be the same plus the rough side of leather is harder to damage with cut's, etc. May not tear or get as scuffed up as much inĀ a crash. Seems like there would be more traction, as well. No more sliding around in wet conditions.
I like Viberg Boots but have not ordered a pair yet. I wear Wesco; would love to have the Viberg 148 boots!
