A study from 2019 that looked at active men found a high association between lower risk of cardiovascular disease and the ability to do 40 or more pushups. Individuals who could do 10 or fewer pushups had a much higher risk/rate of cardiovascular disease.

We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

Nice, I started doing daily pushups using the video below as a guide for positioning / technique about 2 months ago. 

Once you start focusing on tension in the rest of the bodies muscles and proper position as recommended in the video the move becomes way harder lol.

I came across a video where a guy was setting a record for doing 1000 push-ups in a short time. He was wriggling his whole body like a worm, and his range of motion was only a few inches, lol. But for some reason, he considered it a record.

I gave up doing push-ups a few years ago, and now I think I'll just stay lying down after 15.
