Specialized 6Fattie FSR Comp Carbon – Dual Tester Review - Jan. 18, 2016, 7:54 a.m.

Good take on this showing both views. Thanks. I demoed one and my opinion was far different that both of these reviews. Actually smack dab in the middle of most of their comments.
Grip? Yes, agreed.
Pop? Yes off of impacts. No off of proper lips. #bigtirebounce
Uphill Speed? 5 percent penalty. No big deal.
Tire pressure? I couldn't solve this one either.
I think terrain choice is really going to be the thing with these. As my only bike its a no. A mid fat chromo hardtail though? Yes please.

Complaining About Trail Work - May 27, 2015, 5:11 p.m.

you'd think so but I've been confronted and lectured by DNV staff for simply cutting out deadfall. They seem to still cling to the ridiculous idea that every little decision is their's to make when the reality is that we could benefit mutually from cooperation.

Don’t Blame The Bike Industry - April 23, 2015, 10:51 a.m.

I represent the problem. I am not rich, but I have lots of money for bikes. I love the new innovations because it gives me justification to experiment with something new, refreshing my ride, and honestly adding to my experience. I look forward to every purchase. I think about my bike gear in experiences. I envision some magical corner where that 10% stiffness boost rockets me out of the corner like a pro. It could happen.
Am I a gear whore? Maybe. I do ride 100kms/week, so get lots of hours on my gear. I love new trails. Don't make me choose which is more important (of course I would answer the 'ride'), but like I said, I have the money and this is the one and only part of my life where I can have my cake and eat it too. Like I said, I represent the problem. I own that. Thanks for listening.

The seed! Thank you.

Rise Of Enduro – Squamish - Feb. 28, 2015, 4:10 p.m.

No, I'm sure it didn't need the overediting. Great lines but the sped up playback was distracting

Rider and Hiker Altercation on Fromme - Jan. 31, 2015, 8:50 a.m.

My take is that this is simply 2 individuals who got in a conflict, not an act war between 2 user groups. Lets keep this contained and treat it like an isolated incident. As said, this is not the norm.

If I see her on the trail, I will do as always which is slow right down and say hi and thank you. If attacked, ride away, and report it. Do not engage. Surely 60 year old, 110lb ladies are not physical threats that most could not ride away from.

Be as nice as possible. That is the best way to resolve these.

Giant Reign Advanced Review - Jan. 9, 2015, 8 a.m.

Good review. I will chime in to agree 100% with your take on it. I am running the stock tires and the Magic Mary is amazing. Like laughing-out-loud-amazing after holding on through corners on a line that I did not deserve to succeed through.

I am often confused when reviews talk about "climbing". Do you mean the bike's ability to scale a short tech climb, or overall time/energy to get to the top? Other reviews on this bike say it doesn't "climb" well due to "LLS". I don't want to get dropped on the ups to badly, but would not buy a bike to clean the occasional tech climb as a priority trait.
