I see a surprising number of these among the "go fast and long through the forest crowd", considering Camelbak doesn't really market them to bikers very hard.

But let's talk about contradictions for a moment, Andrew. You're all about practicality, regardless of appearance, yet eschew the classic 3-pocket cycling jersey?! Hmmmm......

Being an (old) engineer and physics geek, I checked this stuff out.

Genius! And extra credit for just using the word "radians" on a bike website.

Might be worth making this easily clickable on the NSMB site. Take that PB!

Caveat: I suppose somebody will prove this wrong, but it sure seems solid.

Personally, not a fan of the bike (150 mm "Enduro" bike without adequate room for an honest 2.4 tire?!) but a huge fan of the back to back testing idea for various components. Bring it on!

REALLY interested in the slightly compliant bars (one bum hand here).

No fender for the SI, please. IIRC, when Fox and Yeti announced this concept, they showed a video of it operating while immersed in an abrasive bath for around a million hours. A real world NS test of this is called for.

Ibis Bow Ti. How I lusted over these back in "the day". Drooled over one hanging from the wall in Fruita. $8,000! The shop rat said, well, if you buy this, I'm pretty sure I get the afternoon off!

Super intriguing, but so far, reviews seem mixed (PB, yeah! BikeRadar, meh).

WR1's approach of just minimizing the box section's depth may be a better approach.
