Listened to the Team Robot podcast. That was a good find. I'd wondered what had happened to him/them/it.
Nice. Had to look that one up.
Sigh.....could you please review things BEFORE I buy them? I just picked up a pair of these in the low cut model and have a ride to get my hair cut in them, a trail ride and a pedal up a road and bomb down ride. I'm a casual flats guy, You can take my Times when you unclick my cold dead toes.
I figured since it's winter I could work on my manual/jump skills. After my limited time on them, I've found them stiff. Like my feet hurt stiff. Traction has been okay. Previous shoes were the Jackets which I thought were 'meh.
Give me a couple of months and I suspect that this will be consigned to riding with the kids.
AJ - what pedals are you using? I'm on RF Chesters.
That's true. You have the cold to deal with. Was also thinking that your dirt might fling more than ours does, we tend to clump and pack. Much rather ride in your wet weather than ours.
So....how does one get mud in your eyes when wearing glasses? Or is that the secret to being a bad asswd rider...no glasses???
Any article with a 'Right Said Fred' and Beasties reference is awesome!
Ahhhh. Far more interesting to read and laugh about than the midterm elections. Good comment about the shorts and the Velcro. Velcro is the fastener of the devil.
I'm done with this website, promoting reckless visorless riding. Ahahaha.
Always enjoy reading about others and their riding groups; makes me feel less/more fortunate about mine.
Well said. Having kids and President Trump has gotten me more interested in politics. Sometimes things will suck for you so that others will benefit. Hard pill to swallow.
The kneepad one is genius. Been using since I read this last year and have all my friends doing it too. All one of them.
Interesting. Little more poignancy with Jared's diagnosis.
One thing I've noticed when I ride in your neck of the woods is that I don't see people wearing sunglasses either when it's sunny out or when it's wet. Being a long time contact lens user I'm almost never outside with some sort of eye protection. Am I just a wuss when compared to all you Canadians?
I'm looking forward to this. My life has meaning!
We've talked about it. Haven't figured how to build the bikes and deal with the cases and luggage...
