Thank you guys!  Lot's of good input here.  I've tried the sqlab 12° and it didn't really work for me, they also didn't have a 50mm rise, another measure I've taken to keep some of the weight off my hands.  I'm using a spike vibrocore 31.8.  My riding style is very much oriented to the gravity side of things.  Are you aware of any sources that could help me fine tune the grip profile for the ulnar nerves?

I struggle with grips.  I've broken my scaphoids in both hands and never had them set (I didn't know I broke them at the time) and I've got carpal tunnel stuff as well.  Hand numbness starts to set in 20 minutes into a ride.  I go back and forth between renthal ultra tacky with some tape under them to build out certain places and revgrips.  Do you think the Swayze is more comfortable than both of those?  Are they as flexible as the renthal which allows me to change the profile in key areas?

I would go with a lighter casing and insert.  A lighter casing like EXO or EXO+ is more supple and able to better conform to the ground.  With the insert, you can run lower pressures, protect your rims and keep the advantages of the supple casing.

I'm really interested in this fork.  I'm currently running a Lyrik at 170mm with the Luftkappe and Push's HC97 damper (really great).  I like my fork a lot, but the Mezzer might just be the thing to replace it.

When I read Amanda's comments I was a bit bothered. There was an implicit assumption that a certain portion of the marketing budget exists to support pro-athletes. That is not the case, the marketing budget exists to sell more product. If those funds are being diverted that strongly suggests that there are doubts about the returns obtained from professional sponsorship. I'm not saying brand ambassadors are the right thing to do (honestly it strikes me as cheap and lazy), but if Amanda and other pro-athletes aren't able to demonstrate their ROMI (return on marketing investment) they should expect the marketing budget to go to investments that can.

No offense taken. I did look up the album, and you won't like this, but my first thought was, man they sure didn't plan to sell a lot of these! :). Jokes aside I did want to emphasis that people are smart. There are marketers that try to manipulate consumers. Typically out of desperation because what they're selling isn't good enough. I was the guy that told them don't. Those tactics always backfire. I would tell them to treat your customers like you want to be treated. You cannot lie and manipulate, not just because it's wrong, but because it doesn't work. People will figure it out real fast and your reputation for deceit will outlast your inferior product.
