See 2017 warranties now 3/5 yrs Range/Sight respectively down from Lifetime.
Looks like they're seeing lots of returns and they want to cut losses.
Is Norco actually performing any fatigue and life cycle testing on it's frames ?

Cam any thoughts on how the aluminum version (R2X) might compare on trail?
It's obviously heavier, lower spec'd build etc and a performance Fox suspension too.
But would you hazard a guess ?
Also do you think this would be a decent trail bike for Moab/Sedona ?

Thanks for the update and my thoughts exactly.
Often it's the simplest and least costly bit that can sink the ship.
Imagine the review if Reynolds had that sorted in the first place.

Perry you mention "multiple" failures in the shop, but offer scant details.
I'll read between and say their tubeless setup does not work.
So customer feels happy with purchase then cannot get tubeless to go. Call support talks to friends.
Back to shop or on-line to buy said kit then finally ride next day or two maybe week.
What does Reynolds have to say on this matter ? How did they miss this ?
I hope I'm making it up as you're paying and not getting.

Has this redesign addressed the chainstay cracking issue which I believe was occurring in both ALU and plastic of it's obsolete predecessor ?

In your experience on longer rides does that translate to discomfort ?
Do the wheels bounce off rocks/roots more due to the lesser vert compliance ?

Nonetheless a "Rims Only" sticker shock of > CAD $1600 if purchased in Canada.
Bloat that to about $2400 with some hubs and we still aren't rolling.

Yeah the Shore will hand it to you in more ways than one.
Ridden there a few times on a bike of the same name.
Many "Oh Sh&T moments …" and kissed the ground at the end of every day.
Once bitten and lovin' it !!

Cam is that a crack above the front shock mount ?
Look obvious and nasty !
