What are you thoughts on the brakes? I have this bike coming and currently plan on upgrading them to XT 4 pistons or Magura MT7s.

Hahah I am not Randy Spangler, Cam! Just a dude who likes tech bike lines!
Brendan's run was definitely underscored. Less manicured lips and landings and more raw rowdy lines.
Go talk to him, you will see what I mean.
Most of the S57 work is done by Alistair, have any of you dealt with him? Maybe then you can see why there is the backlog and slow process.
I rode one of these, it's amazing, climbs nice and descending like a champ. Great bike, the not so great thing, the price. As good as it is, with the price it's hard to see "value" in it.
Lived in Emerald for for a couple years, rode these all the time great trails. Trial & Error is a great one, the one rock roll that bucks up your back tire!
In preparing be ready to have a stressful time finding accommodation, and be expected to give an arm and your first newborn for it.
So awesome. One of my favourite things about mtb biking is being able to bring the 4 legged critter with me. She loves it as much as I do.
I sucked it up and got a 2015 Kona Process 153 DL. Climbs good enough for me and makes descents THE BEST THING ever. Was a stretch to buy it, but it's the little things that make life enjoyable right?
I live close to the Shore and ride it a lot the trails are fun, but a lot of them are old and need some love. I also do not enjoy the Roman style armour plating on such trails like 7th and Pipeline. The newer trails coming out of Squamish and Whistler are such fun sustainable trails to ride, it would be nice to get some revitalizations in the Shore area.
Awesome video and really makes me miss summer riding with the dog.
Sick video! That rock roll to the down bridge looks gnarly!
