first world problems

I took a hundred dollar bill out drinking to keep my wallet slim, but one beer later and it is too fat from all the cash!

I need to start drinking at peeler bars. Do they take coins?

Fromme 2013 Conditions (merged)

Fromme was great this evening. This was my final Shore ride - back to Oz next week.

Ladies was my first and last trail here - lots less walking this time! I'm going to miss the riding here for sure.

Is there a better ride-out on this planet than Natural High/Immonator/Griffen? Great stuff!

Weird injury...

NSMB is and always will be THE place for medical advice.

For this type of injury (and most others): Grab a case of beer, start drinking, stop whining. If pain persists after one week of treatment remove the offending limb. Repeat.

bruised tailbone

My brother injured his tailbone many years ago. It took months to stop hurting and even longer to not be sensitive when bumped etc. It may be interesting to know if it's fractured but are they really going to be able to do anything other than let you know it will hurt for longer?

Coffee grinder for sale

You know adaptors from 220 to 120 are like $2 on ebay. You could bring it with you.

Yeah that is Plan B. I am going to run my espresso machine from a converter but I may buy a local grinder. I have a Pharos manual grinder that fills my needs in the meantime.

Coffee grinder for sale

I know there's a few caffeine junkies on here so…

I am selling a Baratza Vario, about 6 months old. Great espresso grinder, able to adjust to french press etc easily.

Have you tried hitting it? At this stage that is my normal course of action.

I just got back from a work trip to Mexico, open pit running four 495HR's and a fleet of 63 930e's and 2 960e's. Scary driving around the pit in a pickup! I was disappointed there wasn't a haul truck #69 :(

Any photos? Are those 495's fitted with the big-arse hydraulic crowd? We looked hard at those a few years ago, would be interested to hear how they are going.

Post yer rippers!

We took a few snaps on a recent road trip. The kids are starting to enjoy rougher trails, even rode over some tree roots in Jasper. They love being on their bikes - if they end up riding like Whitehonky's groms I will be a happy dad!

Jasper, with her usual bike riding facial expression:

The little guy is pushing her these days:

I love mountain scenery and will miss it when I go home:

Rail trail near Christina Lake - down was a lot easier than the return!
