With a few exceptions, there is a whole lot of terrible taste in this thread. And while I don't wear or own a watch, the people who complain about the money spent on nice watching need to get over it; everyone spends money on stupid shit. At least a nice watch isn't something stupid like a bad tattoo or a man-necklace or some ridiculous diamond earrings…

I'd say a watch is almost a fashion accessory now. I only really wear mine when dressing up, and when I do I still check my phone for the time out of habit most of the time. I was upset, because my need for a watch that expensive fresh out of school was non existent. Another lens would have been more appropriate, secondly if I was going to spend that much on a watch I would go for something more suave then a Nixon, also it looks exactly like the rest of the "Player" line up but costs over 1000 more. Not to mention I had already been given a very nice watch earlier.

Taste is subjective, knowing you, I going to go out on a limb and guess these are more your taste.

my girlfriend got roped into it by a mutual friend, So i in turn did as well. I still eat like shit, but 1 really tasty smoothie in the morning is cheaper than hitting up the coffee shop next to work, and there's usually one already made for me in the morning. Nothing to loose and I gained breakfast back.

At the same time I'm not expecting to drop any fat and become all toned.

I'm curious why they can't use D3O padding for hockey. It seems less likely to injure than hard plastic, but I've never played the game so I don't know.

What if the rules were changed to end this "finishing your check" attitude. The intent of a hit is to knock the player off the puck so your team can gain possession. Hits that aren't in that context are illegal. It's a real shame though that players have to be saved from themselves.

I've played hockey my whole life, and after I saw it utilized in the 661 gear, hockey was my first thought. hard plastic for shins, helmet and cup, everything else can be d3o, would be nice to have d3o around the back of the shin pads, and think how less restrictive shoulder pads could be!

one of the guys I work with has a 2011 M3, it's fast, it's cool, etc etc. But any time you need any work on it you get fucked so hard. 4k for brake shoes? Battery replacements are ridiculous too. On the flip side he hates it and has his eye on an R8 now.
