When Whistler Bike Parks asks "You guys want to help us open Garbanzo Zone a day early?"

yeah, I agree on probably overkill, but on the icy days not freaking out about the black ice is worth it. I have hit the deck a couple times over the years. Like I said, I only use them maybe one week a year, for my peace of mind its worth it. YMMV.

yup, threw some studded tires on yesterday. Will probably keep em on for the rest of the week, as long as I need to.

I will say this, I am glad I have them, they will last forever because I only use them 1 week or so a year. They are heavy, but when its icy I'm not in a rush. They are very effective.

FWIW I use Shwable Marathon Winter on a cross bike.

I worked with Igor at WMSC in the late 90's early 00's. He was a friend at the time, haven't seen him for a number of years. Nice guy at the time. Hope things work out.

No affiliation with Steve or Vorsprung. I bought the corset and had it installed while I waited. Steve and I chatted a bit. A decent ride in whistler down Crazy Train yesterday and a pretty fun ride in Squamish today leave me sold. A great upgrade to a fox shock I couldn't get sorted out properly until now. My humble opinion is this is the real deal. In summary, initial stroke much smoother / plush and middle range good support, found the bottom (or close to it) that ramped up very nice but with good reason on a trail bike.

Having said that, I have a fox 34 140 MM tapered that I would sell cheap…
