Lost Glove on Mountain HWY today

Yesterday afternoon there was a single Fox glove against the tree to the right of the entrance of Expresso. Don't remember what colour it was.

Thanks. Ya I saw that one when I went looking for mine. Its a Blue one not sure if its left or right. May be I should go grab it if its a left. Then Id have a pair again.

Seymour 2015 Conditions

thanks. Trailforks is the best place to report such problems. Just sign up to Pinkbike, and create a trail condition report.

I've already copied yours over.

Had to check the calendar. No it's not April 1 st.

mark, this is clearly a great program. but:
as a relative outsider with no particular emotional investment in the overplayed (from all sides) "war in the woods" fiasco, the "watchmen" will inevitably be received in a negative light by some non-riders. the timing, photos, name, and logo may be interpreted as aggressive and inflammatory. initially i thought it was a joke, then i literally face-palmed when i realized it wasn't. it looks bad. sounds like that wasn't intentional, but the negative feedback in this thread is only meant to point that out, its nothing personal against the program or nsmba.

I also agree with Clark.

Me too

Sorry guys, my fault. After a few years without a pass, I decided to drop in and get one this year. I jinxed it, I accept full responsibility.

I had one last year as well. Didn't really get my money's worth last year cause of the slow start. This year is unbelievable. I have 6 days in so far. No good news in the long range forecast either as far as I can tell.

People behaving poorly

The media is making is into a bigger story than it really is. If both party's had of treated each other with respect this would have never escalated to this level. Let's let the police get back to doing real police work not baby sitting on the trails.

rockslide @ twin bridges

i find it interesting that your wife was able to access the site from the west side , yet on the east side they don't want anyone near the site .

We ran down Bottle Top a week after the slide. The hazards on the east bank are real. The bank east of the trail along the river is compromised and all the large trees on it look as if they could fall over at any time. These will fall onto the trail.

ChilcotinTaylor cabin?

Surrey snowmobile club used to maintain it. Looking pretty run down these days not sure they are using it anymore. A friend who has guided for Tyax Heli Skiing says very unstable snow pack in that zone. Something to do with it being a little further east a bit dryer and shallower snowpack.

WRONG

Buy biodegradable poop bags

Fill with poop as needed

Toss into ravine

Fertilize

The bags are "biodegradable" so that over time they will breakdown in the landfill, where they are meant to go. Not in the woods or hanging from a tree or stuffed under some stump trailside where they end up when some misinformed dog owner throws them there. If your dog takes a dump on the trail stop and flick it off into the woods with a stick where it will biodegrade all on its own quite rapidly without a bright blue bag around it.

Biodegradable dog s#it bags are meant for more urban settings where garbage cans can be found. Use them when your walking your dog around in the city.
