Some of the best mountain biking in the world in those zones! I have experienced first hand the Zermatt/Verbier magic along-side Mathews guiding for Big Mountain. But, what I'm really looking forward to, is seeing Matt Hunter and I shred the same lines in the next Anthill film "Strength In Numbers"! Yeahhheessss!!! Code word: Heli!

That is going to be such an insane section!

Those trails are so incredible. I feel pretty lucky to guide on them for Big Mountain Bike Adventures. August is too far away, I need my annual Swiss single track and 3 pain au chocolats/day fix.

NSMB Tech: A Closer Look at Avid Taperbore Technology

Hopefully Avid have sorted out the problems with the brakes constantly needing bleeds and being difficult to bleed. Question: are you now able to shorten an Avid brake hose by cutting and shoving it back in without a rebleed like you can with Shimano?

Yes sir, you can!

Story+Photos: All the Options You Could Want

It's good out there, and you know it. Way to make the most of where you are!

On a side note, Reuben Krabbe is a total boss behind the camera. A fellow friend, and Calgarian originally…just saying

You guys are seeing this all wrong. I'm sure the director is a long-time reader of NSMB.com, and took a special interest over our featured "Movie Week". This is clearly an attempt to mock my "10 Things to Omit" list, and it's all a complete joke.

Isn't it?

Ultramontane No. 04: The Godfather

Both those videos were great! Connor and Derek are doing a great service to the internet right now! In a time of bike edit lull…they're producing A quality content. That was great, Wade!

Ten Edit Commandments - What to Omit

I'd like to ensure that this was written from a very light-hearted point of view. The opening few paragraphs describe myself as a wanderer of the net, someone who has grown up watching and learning from others video talent. Not once did I ever describe myself as an expert in this stuff, nor did I claim that a "violation" of these incredibly "serious commandments" we've drummed up was a bad thing. I respect the people who can turn out edits, it's an impressive use of creativity. Talk about blown out of proportion.

If you'll kindly turn your attention to the sister-thread Stephen Matthews' - Top 3 Edits I think you'll see that i've chosen ones with Intros, outros, story lines, slow motion, all styles of music, commentary, sponsor logos, etc. Each of the chosen edit's is accompanied by a written explanation of why I loved them so much.

There was nothing negative written in the article. It's merely goofy 1 liner examples that accompany some of the more overdone themes in the everyday edit.

Top 3 Edits #2 -Stephen Matthews

Have you ever actually been able to read an entire Seb Kemp 'article' top to bottom? If so then you must be the kind of guy that is amused just by listening to the dog farting in the corner of the living room.

Once you have read one whiny article from Seb kemp then you have read them all. The article starts with something witty-ish and then what follows is a lot of whiny, unoriginal crap, accompanied by the thudding noise of your own head banging against the wall.

etc etc…

Seb didn't write the notes to the three videos i liked…I did? Was this meant for a different thread?

Quick Queries 2 - Your Shooter...

That's hilarious that Peter and I showed up in the choice for Callum! That was shot in 2010, before my time with NSMB…high-fiving crabapple hits was terrifying. I wonder how it'd be after the rebuild now haha?
