Climate science is a hoax: Big Oil, GOP, God say so

Cut Florida off from FEMA funding if the storms aren't real. Sea level rise is a bitch when you got that much coastline.

Is the writer a fan of Starship Troopers?

People will pay if they get good deal on something. When they pay more than they believe is fair, they won't pay. You can call that hating taxes, or you can call it hating waste.[/

Here's the 'deal':

yt in canada

Agree with most of what Drew said above. In terms of focus, I'm a bit underwhelmed by the local model: typically a big Norco/axiom shop with little attention to cycling beyond the hobby. Nobody is e-undercutting Bromptons, edgerunners, Simcoe, Public or city bikes in any meaningful way. The margins is right there and yet we have travel to Seattle before we see anything like this: http://familycyclery.com/

More on what a shop that breaks out looks like: http://youtu.be/M4fUkXugrOY

These guys are getting customers that are new to cycling, whereas most shops here seems to be focused on the 30-45 year old looking at their 12th bike. Stop complaining about MEC, Shimano and yt and refocus on where the margins are and competition isn't.

XTR Trail Pedals - WTF?

Also broke a RH XTR trail pedal. Got warranted through CRC, easily. Now on XT with no issues.

If Translink didn't lose 12 million riders during the past year when he was in charge, we wouldn't be having this conversation. Translink paid superstar bucks and didn't get value for their money. Do the "fans" have the right to complain?

"You can't expect remuneration for the head of a publicly-funded organization or non-profit to be identical or even comparable to a company that is already immensely profitable..

That ridership drop has everything to do with increasing fares which is a product of Victoria messing with the running of Translink. Putting it on CEO is lazy at best. You can slash his salary in half and it wouldn't pay for a fraction of the proposed investments.

Private CEO messes up, and shareholders and the 1% take home a little less. Public CEO messes up and the other 99% can't get around, or have access to basic services . What should we value more in terms of renumeration? Profit or public services…where's the risk for the voters?
