Re: Anybody been to Japan to ride? Recommendations?

Is it weird that I kind of want to experience waking up to the sirens going off? Pretty surreal experience I would think.

Definitely going to do that in another year. Plan is to goto hokkaido first before it gets too cold, but I don't think there is much in the way of riding up there. Niseko has one or 2 trails on the hill that may or may not be closed by the time i get there.

I've heard that maxxis doesn't even have them in stock.

Anybody been to Japan to ride? Recommendations?

I'm heading to Japan for 2 months this fall. Leaving Sept 25. Renting a campervan and doing a lap.

I've made a map of the potential riding in Japan, but it's very hard to discern what's good and whats not:

Anybody have experience over there?

Takes me a while to figure out your abbreviations sometimes.

Glad I'm not the only one!

Re: 2017 WCDH

I think he wasn't that fast. He didn't look as confident on the bike as he has in the past. Maybe a couple unusual line choices as well.

most of the world seems to be calling this a bicycle, what do the denizens of NSMB say?

if people are going to use extreme examples that fall outside of the current conversation then is there any point in having it?
