4 Bikes For Price of 2 - Feb. 18, 2017, 6:43 a.m.

Yeah, I may have a bit of a problem…

Honzo is running an MRP Stage.

4 Bikes For Price of 2 - Feb. 17, 2017, 7:18 p.m.

So, tell me if I'm doing this right then… Honzo Ti with a 140 fork, Evil Following, and an Intense T275c… Run wide carbon 27.5s with 2.5 DHFs on the Intense, but swap those onto the Honzo with 2.8 Rekons for winter (and special occasions), and swap racy and burly wheel sets back and forth between the Evil and Honzo? 1×11 throughout, and no boost to be seen anywhere!

Crankbrothers Highline Dropper : Follow Up - Sept. 15, 2016, 5:39 a.m.

I'd be careful with that 8.8 advice… While OE hardware may be unmarked custom fasteners, in some cases they may be 10.9 or 12.9 equivalent, so your 8.8s will be a downgrade in terms of strength.

Dad Buys Kid Walmart Bike - May 8, 2015, 11:25 p.m.

It's obviously not the bike, it's the rider. His dad has a lot more experience and he is just a kid who is still learning how to ride those trails. - Long- time free rider.

Tina Kraal Intends to Plead Guilty (updated) - April 19, 2015, 5:54 p.m.

I'm curious if i have missed some facts along the way, as the information reported here doesn't seem to align with what has been reported elsewhere.

CBC news has the current state of affairs as follows:
"A North Vancouver woman accused of setting traps for mountain bikes on some popular trails is expected to plead guilty at a hearing later this year, according to her lawyer. Her lawyer Peter Martins told CBC News that Kraal plans to plead guilty and he expects the date for the sentencing hearing later this year will be set on Wednesday. "We will advise the court that we are seeking dates for a guilty plea, Martins said yesterday."
(Here is the full article: )

The article here "Tina Kraal pleads guilty" seems to give off the impression that a guilty plea has already been submitted. Have I missed something? Seems like NSMB is jumping the gun on reporting this.

Rider and Hiker Altercation on Fromme - Feb. 1, 2015, 2:14 a.m.

I think it's important not try to draw a line between mountain bikers and hikers, in terms of trail rights and stereotypes of character. It's really quite simple: don't be an entitled asshole. Respect other people's right to use a public trail, be aware of your surroundings and blind corners, and say 'thanks' regularly. Also, don't use strava on mixed use trails. If you want to race….race.

Vorsprung TLA Damper Upgrade for Fox CTD Forks - Dec. 3, 2014, 6:07 a.m.

Steve's damper is better than any CTD upgrade I've experienced, and substantially better than Fox's own "upgrade" which is likely what SW is installing. This is quite different and allows fine grained control of the damping in each setting and then allows you to flick between them, unlike the CTD which even at its best only allows 3 clicks worth of fine tuning in 1 mode.

2015 Ibis Mojo HD Ridden - Nov. 17, 2014, 12:41 p.m.

So they're "using a Raceface Turbine crankset over the currently next-to- impossible to secure XTR."
In what way are the new XTR cranks impossible to secure?

LONG-TERM TEST – Specialized S-Works Camber 29 - Oct. 29, 2014, 2:03 a.m.

Well… you can buy a 140mm 29er Pike and put a 26 inch 150mm air spring in and reduce the travel to 120mm, that might help!
