Sharon's Book: Local's Guide to North Shore Rides

I'm not sure if you can encrypt or lock a gpx file but if it were possible, that might be an option. It would be nice to offer it with a custom map like the Squamish Trail app. The problem is figuring out if there is any type of universal format that would work amoungst all the different GPS out there on the market. KMZ/KML file works on my Garmin Oregon but not sure if works on other brands [HTML_REMOVED] models of GPS's.

Sharon's Book: Local's Guide to North Shore Rides

Any plans to release the suggested routes in GPX format so I can use on my GPS?

Sharon's Book: Local's Guide to North Shore Rides

I'm heading to seymour later to ride the marathon xc course. What's the most "on the way" shop to pick up a copy? I'm coming from Mission.

Great minds think alike. I went to do the XC marathon loop as well today. I probably should have got a copy of the book before heading out. I ended missing some key turns [HTML_REMOVED] got all twisted around on the trail network.

I probably should have got a current map to take with me. I had an older trail map I found on the net which wasnt the best. For example Homestead trail is for hikers only :(

Can anyone recommend a current map? I got the book, it's a great resource. But would be nice to have a map to take with me instead of the book.

Advice on component/trim level for enduro/remedy

One of my good friends has a Ibis and he is not gentle. He is blown away with how when the carbon frame has handled the last year.

Which model [HTML_REMOVED] build kit Ibis did he get?

Advice on component/trim level for enduro/remedy

I'm in the same boat with a XC bike already (Stumpjumper comp), but starting to realize that a slacker burlier bigger travel bike is better suited for our lower mainland trails (SFU, North Shore, Squamish, Whistler). The two I've been considering are the Enduro Expert or Evo and Ibis Mojo HD. Still not so convinced about the durability of carbon frames all mtn thrashing, so leaning more towards the Enduro. I'll be following this thread for advice as well.

Rode GJ [HTML_REMOVED] Uppercut today, didnt notice any horse crap anywhere. Maybe someone cleaned it up? Probably not a bad idea to put on the mud guards now we're going to be getting into some rainy weather.
