RM Flatline Pro vs Kona Operator vs Devinci Wilson XP

Had chance to do parking lot demos of the Operator vs Wilson today. The Operator felt good but the Wilson felt a lot more solid [HTML_REMOVED] the low center of gravity really made it handle nicely. Both were small, the Operator cockpit felt cramped compared to the Wilson. I'm leaning now towards the Wilson or Flatline. The Wilson being $600 more expensive might end up swaying me towards the Flatline.

Rented a RM Flatline Park edition [HTML_REMOVED] had chance to ride it for the day @whistler.My 1st ride on a full on DH bike, my everyday bike is Slayer. Not sure on the weight of the bike (shop says its something like 45lbs), it definitely felt very heavy [HTML_REMOVED] tank like. Took a couple of runs to get a good feel for it. It just eats up the chunder [HTML_REMOVED] plows through everything. Handles well for big bike. Tracks like it's on rails around the corners. Didnt do any big jumps but feels like it would land almost anything. I was thinking it would be a great bike if it were a bit lighter [HTML_REMOVED] more nimble. Just wish I could demo the Operator or Wilson or other DH bike to compare.

Going to demo a RM Flatline @whistler tomorrow. The Kona sounds like it will be good as well. May have to head down to a Kona dealer [HTML_REMOVED] take it for a quick parking lot spin to see how it feels. Some very good info [HTML_REMOVED] advice from everyone so far. Anyone have a chance to ride a Flatline care to comment? Thanks

The Kona Operator [HTML_REMOVED] RM Flatline Pro are about the same price ($2300). The Wilson Xp is a bit more $3000. So given those prices. What would you advise?

Newbie DH rider here looking at some of the DH bike sales that have been popping up. Looking for something for riding Whistler bike park. Not at all a lot of DH experience/skills yet, very much a newbie.

Anyways a few deals I've seen lately have been for the Rocky Mountain Flatline Pro, Kona Operator and Devinci Wilson which are fairly similarly priced. Anyone ridden any of these care to offer some advice or opinions on which might be a better choice for me?

Thanks

Anybody know how tickets for the "top of the world" trail is going to work?

Season pass holders also have 1 free ticket for this. They actually gave a free Top of the world ticket, Scandanavian Spa day and a free buddy pass. Was pretty sweet.

Hmmm…. I only got the Spa voucher. Do they send out top of the world tickets [HTML_REMOVED] buddy pass later or do you need to ask for them?

suggestion for upper fromme ride

Looking to try out some of upper fromme trails. Any suggestions for a good introductory loop for intermediate level ride? (Besides the usual bobsled, floppy, Griffin loop)

Tired of chain drop?

Loving Bionicon chain guide on my slayer [HTML_REMOVED] it works great. Simple yet functional design that doesnt require any tinkering. Got mine primarily to stop the chain slap. Also works great as chain tensioner. Keeps everything nice [HTML_REMOVED] quiet and prevents any chain drop.
