lost my RaceFace Ambush knee pads

Hey everyone

I was riding GSM on Seymour today, about halfway up I removed my riding vest and wrapped it around my pack but forgot to tighten the straps back down for my knee pads. Anyways, by the time I got to the top they were gone. So I don't know where they fell out. I talked to a couple other riders they said they saw them (possibly)sitting on one of the sigh posts. I rode up two more time, which just about killed me, and couldn't find them. I'm either blind or somebody else took them. Anyway, if anybody finds them and picks them up I'll get you a 6pack of your favorite beer (within reason) if we can meet for the return of them. Or drop them off at the Cap's in Richmond where I work and we'll work something out. Thanks.
Mike

Videos not playing

I'm running XP Pro with Kaspersky Internet Security. Do I add the site to an exception list?

Videos not playing

Can't figure out why the videos on this site won't play for me. It shows the pic with the play button in the middle but won't play when pushed. It's the same for Chrome and Firefox. It works fine on PB. Can't figure it out. I know basics about computers but not super savvy. Thanks for any help as I'm missing all these vids.

My eyesight is changing.

I use a narrower height of glasses. That way for close up I can just peer beneath the lower part of my frames. If I'm doing a lot of close up work I do have to take them off but for the most part I can leave them on. I had a couple years of my eyes getting worse but it's was the same on my last exam.

Ideal north shore do it all bike

I've been riding my Prime, 140 Pike/DB Inline, for a couple of seasons now and have ridden it everywhere on the shore that I used to ride my DH bike. Cypress, Seymour, Fromme, Sumas, Vedder, etc…. It's so versatile, adjust the dropouts for steeper geo for xc riding such as a romp around the Watershed. Flip'em over and head up to Cypress. You can even throw a set of 27.5+ wheels on there if you so desire. I have and they're a blast. Only feel overwhelmed on the gnarliest stuff but I always manage to plow through. I keep looking at other bikes but can't justify enough of a difference to pull the trigger. Perhaps something with a 140mm travel 29er lite the new Sight but I'll probably wait until they come out with an alloy version. Depends on the geo really.

Dreaming of an aggressive 29er for the North Shore and PNW

How about a Banshee Prime? I ride mine everywhere I used to ride my Trek Session on the Shore. Cypress, Fromme, Seymour handles it all. I'm running a 140mm Pike but you could go 150. Adjustable dropouts w 3 positions. I even ran 27.5+ on it as an experiment. It was different. I don't think better or worse, just different characteristics. Super Solid.

Old Domestic Vehicles That Aren't Sh!t?

Have a look at a 2006/07 Focus. Comes in 3dr or 5dr. Great handling car, I had one for 7 years and 240,000 kms with minimal issues. Just an alternator and general service. It can be modded for more even more fun but definaltely get the 5spd. ![]([HTML_REMOVED]

Fromme 2016 Conditions

Rode Expesso yesterday, no snow to that point. Didn't look like any up the road either. Trails were in awesome condition. Dry and fast. Couple wet spots on bobsled but thats it. Man was it busy!

Waterproof Shorts?

Anyone have a suggestion for a road waterproof short/knicker?

The PI Pro Thermal Knickers get wet butt pretty quick.
No real way to mount fenders besides going with some SKS RaceBlades that likely won't fit either.

fit just about every road bike i've tried them on.
