That was amazing. Best show I've ever seen and I've seen alot. I saw PJ 2 years ago in Seattle and the crowd last night was way more into it than the home towners.

Stupid goddamn Uvic (random angst).

Welcome to the hoop jumping, red tape world of post secondary education. Maybe Camosun has something without so much prereqs that will count towards electives. The campus is only a five min. bike from UVIC.

Another good stolen bike story!!

Seems like the riders are getting a little back lately. A friends and his wife's bike were stolen from there basement. A Santa Cruz and a Brodie. He asked the punks around the neighborhood until one of the little buggers ratted out his friend who bought one of them. We went to the kids house and got back one of the bikes and made him show us where he bought it from. His mom made him go. We waited outside that house the next morning and waited for the guy to come out. I had to leave for work but the two guys I was with had a little scuffle with him in the courtyard of some nasty appt. People out on the balconies yelling. It was like the thunderdome. No bike there though. It turns out that Marty's Mt. Cycle recognized the bike when the guy came in to sell it and said they had to check it over first. When he came back they told him he could either leave the bike or wait for the cops to come… his choice. He left. Props to Marty's for returning the bike and to my friend for not giving up till he had his bikes back :D .

hartland freeride comp

I stayed at home like a sally cause of the rain:rolleyes: . I figured they would either cancel or that the trail would get beat to shit and I didn't want to go up there for either. I kept thinking all day that I would have probably had fun and I'm sure it was. Damn it was pissing this morning!

Nice ride! B8 cranks look sweet. I just like the Sofa cause of the nice "flow". I agree that it's a one dimentional trail, but that dimention is pretty fun. There is some other good stuff for sure. I'd like to see what's up at Nields. Some of the Dump is getting a bit old ya know. I'm up for anything as long as there is transition for the drops. I'll leave the flat landings to the young punks;) . See ya Wed.

Oops. Ya I ride a DMR sidekick, black, single speed, fsa BMX cranks, dual hayes 8", 1664 BMX seat. http://www.pinkbike.com/modules/photo/?op=view[HTML_REMOVED]image=73283
I used to ride a VPS Fluid. It was great but I missed the hardtail and got the DMR for cheap. Me and a friend are hitting the Sofa on Mon. afternoon. Your welcome to join if ya want. What's your ride?

Mainly on the Sofa King. I've hit the park a few times but schools been keeping me away lately. I'm really hoping these DJ parks go through aroung the area. I used to live in Nanaimo and rode lots there. I hit Duncan every once in awhile too. I gotta do some more ridding out in Sooke and Neilds(?) road. Heard alot of good about those spots. The recent work on the Sofa is pretty nice though. You?

Update!

I've got a feeling that your teachers gonna come outta this looking pretty dumb. If things went off like you said, then I wish you luck. You sound like you've got a level head, so remember to keep it when you go before the board. Let your parent loose it if they want to but if you keep cool you should be alright.

I'll have to check that one out. I won't drop to flat anymore (except of a curb). It's all about the tranny for this rider. Wait I meant…um yeah.
