If You Put A Flat Bar On A CX Bike Does That Make It 29er???

The bike was great for the Blubber Burn event. I however was terribly out of shape.
I was amazed by how many CX racers had tubes in their tires…. People all over the place fixing flats.
My brother and I ran tubeless and had no problems. I hit the rim hard on a few rocks and just kept on riding

My favourite event of the year!

"The $elling of Alberta"

Oh but I thought these big companies were the "Job Creators". Seems like they create just enough to keep you peasants happy while they laugh all the way to the bank. We'll see you in 10-15 when the best job you'll be getting is pumping that gas into their cars.

And now that the price of oil has dropped, all these benevolent "Job Creators" are pulling up stakes. Anyone surprised?

So who does the land belong to that they are planning to pipe and ship this crud through?

I was referring to Northern Gateway which strangely shows up on the pipeline map. Jumped the gun on that one a bit.

And no more than the Province of BC owns it's forestry and can do whatever it wants with it, the Province of Alberta owns its oil and can do whatever we want with it. Hands off hippies, it's ours and we're happy with the way our stable majority government deals with it. Except Stelmach, but he was forced into an early retirement by party insiders… Redford will do awesome.

Ya Redford was awesome alright! Still Happy?

4 year old boy playing naked prompts police visit

60+ years old?

That be my guess. And was more pissed at the noise/fun than the naked.

Zed if we had a neighbor who called the cops for naked kids on my street we'd be getting a visit to our street every month! For the small worth it provides, you have my support.

Glad the RCMP came around today. Good on them for that.

upcoming federal election

on one hand tell the public you've increased funding, on the other tell the departments they better not spend it.

I thought we were either with the Cons or the Pedophiles? Apparently Harper and company are with the Pedophiles by their own definition .

NHL 2014-2015 Canucks Rebuild Year

Yeah … its amazing how they can play a stinker one night against a lousy team, and then 2 nights later dominate and humiliate a superstar team. Boggles the mind.

A superstar team playing the 2nd night of a back-to-back in a very different a time zone than they are used to. They looked tired but the Nucks def took advantage of the situation which is always a positive.

mid-full size crossover/suv recommendations?

I have a 2005 Honda Pilot right now and am quite happy with it. If you find Rav 4 too small this is just a bit bigger. Keep in mind there are Rav4s with fold down third row seating as well.

  • Our Pilot has 3.5L V6 engine-great motor. Smooth, quiet and plenty of power (270 hp)
  • towing capacity of 4500 lbs-tows our little 2000 lb trailer with ease, even to Tofino.
  • fold down third row seating
  • 4 lock drive system that locks in the all wheel drive to 4 wheel drive up to 50 KM/H

Milage in town isn't too good but HWY driving is decent

We looked at a few Pathfinders as well which we liked but were scared off by this: http://www.nissanproblems.com/trends/coolant-leaks-destroy-transmission/
was a VERY common problem

Do you Walmart?

Stopped caring…ankle deep laps in progress.

I bet you didn't buy your skis at Walmart cause if you did they'd be broken already.
