I had the race face chute. It fell apart. zippers broke. seams outside came apart. inside taped seams came apart. Got a warrant replacement. Same thing. I don't know about spending  $200 or more on their crappy quality jackets again.

Been using these for awhile now. simple and they work! I also put XL one on my bike's rear triangle to keep the linkage and rear shock cleaner.

Well now reading about the issue with the waterproofing and the fabric pilling is concerning me. The price yes I think it's on the high side but I bought mine way cheaper in the USA. I live5 mins away from the Raceface office and I have to go to Belllingham or on-line to get a way cheaper price on their stuff.

CBC is now opened. Just rode it earlier today.

My 2 magic-shines died after a year. My new set-up is a solarstorm x2 for the helmet since I can use my old magic-shine batteries with it. Cost $20 for light head and crappy battery. for the bars I got a Baja designs Double Stryk. This light set is bright ,fully waterproof to 33ft and has lifetime warranty. It wasn't cheap, but I wanted at least one good reliable light on the trails.
