New Handlebars

Thinking about swapping my flat bars on my commuter for some swept back ones like the On-One OGV2 is this going to help with wrist pain? Also getting some wider tyres. Any other tips for minimizing wrist pain? Its not arthritis, seems to be myofascial stuff (potentially stress related) Cheers

Pemberton...

Is anyone able to help my find out a bit more about life in Pemberton (and recommend a realtor to meet for coffee).  We are at the beginnings of a plan to move there and there are few bumps in the road...

1. housing hence the realtor

2. understanding the community vibe, we've been up there numerous times and always seem to meet nice people in the sunshine is this a fair representation of the scene it seems to handle non locals quite well.

3. Its a small town, I grew up in a small town and I know the positives and negatives my gf is less convinced.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.  cheers

Re: E bike commuting

That is what I was thinking 30-35km/h would be ideal should result in a 55-60 minute trip.

E bike commuting

I am thinking about ebike commuting (port moody to east side of Maple Ridge) about 25km each way. Is anyone commuting reasonably long distances via ebike target would be to get it done in 45-50mins.  Does this sound reasonable?

Re: Moving to Mission

Bump...

A move out to the valley could be on the cards, what are people's thoughts on mission in 2017?  The desktop study ticks a lot of boxes but can't quite figure the place out...

Cheers

The decline of forums

I have a copy of this at home, I got it in 2009 as a freebie.

I read it last weekend, the reality of it depressing and anger making…

Recommend a good lawyer...family law

The first thing your friend needs to do is have a consult with a lawyer specializing in family law and aim for mediation if possible.

Second, he needs to become very familiar with the family law act…its available online.

Third, he needs to write EVERYTHING down that has happened and happens in the future…this includes conversations, financial transactions and anything his spouse does or doesn't do. Make and keep copies of all financial transactions ie. print off copies of bank statements, transfers etc.

As for the OP, sections 84 and 85 of the fla cover the topic you're dealing with. I hope it has been resolved by now.

Cheers, thats the plan, we are on the brink of setting him up with another friend who is into the shit to the tune of nearly $100K (inter provincial mentalism)to help him understand how important this is (in particular doing everything he can to be the best possible parent ever, he has let work get in the way of this for the last couple of years and if I can pick holes in this God knows what a lawyer can do)

Recommend a good lawyer...family law

Quick bump for this…
A friend is just at the start of this whole process and doesn't have a clue about most of it and needs to understand the value of a good lawyer, his wife has come out all guns blazing and he needs some robust defense.

Any idea what sort of budget for legal fees he should be planning on my gut is telling $15 to 20K taxes in.
