snow quite rideable to 4 1/2 switchbacks, then kinda deep (10cm+), but got first tracks on Crinkum!
Super fun.

Fromme on a hardtail

Well, Morgan, like me, has perfected the pedaling technique and are now using clip less pedals to enhance our performance. Thereby taking advantage of the enhancement of our pedaling skills to slay climbs.

I like your logic! I will say the worst place for flats is any short steep climbs, like on Bridle Path. I was a clipless aficionado for years, made the switch to flats about 3 years ago to feel safer and more confident on the aforementioned techgnar. Now my feet stick to my pedals naturally. And I feel like a kid again. And slay climbs with my superhero fitness.

"Jumbo Glacier officially becomes resort municipality"

Nutty idea is completely nutty… we regularly make the 9+hour drive to Panorama from North Van (due to free ski-in,ski-out accom via Calgary relatives) and have enjoyed fantastic skiing with zero crowds at Christmas and Spring Break. A great family mountain with plenty of epic steeps and deeps in the Tayton Bowl and Extreme Dream Zone. And it takes days to get skied out. So where are these crowds going to come from, considering that people will have to go right past Panorama? Esp considering Pano is completely under-utilized. I really don't get how any money can possibly be made.

Moving to North Van - Advice Welcome!

Also easy to commute via Lion's Gate, head down 13th to Keith Road to the 1st ave bike route, to Lion's Gate.
Even from upper Lynn Valley, bike commute downtown is 30-45 min depending where you have to go,
(a bit longer getting home). Lower Londsdale you'll have to drive up to the trails, it's awesome being up higher, having quick access to both Fromme and Seymour , but as Bowen said, We're full!

Trail Recommendations Wanted

I'm not a local, but I love hitting the West side trails when not in the bike park. Ride west on Alta Lake Road,
then up at Lower Sproatt, then Beaver Ponds or Danimal, WhipMeSnipMe, Bob's and Mels, and/or add on River Runs Through It - lots of fun!

Red Bull Joyride Replay on NSMB.com!

That back flip was huge, which made that landing so painful to watch! Zink continues to be super exciting to watch. Watching guys recover after a sketchy landing, then go right in and pull off a big trick was definitely impressive.
Amazing to watch in person, especially to us mere mortal mountain bikers!
