Portland Activities

We moved back here in February and although we don't get to downtown Portland too often I can make a couple suggestions.

Beer:
Hair of the Dog Brewery
Cascade Brewery
Green Dragon
(all 3 are within 4 blocks of each other)

As stated before Belmont Station is great for beer to go as well as a small pub with a few great beers always on tap.

Saturday Market (Runs Saturday and Sunday) would be a good family thing to do if the weather's good.

If you want to go to Voodoo go to their location on the east side (close to the breweries I mentioned) since the lineups are not nearly as long.

I second Kennedy School, very cool place.

20 million bees

I like the big rig stepdown gapping the cars

bummer about the driver though

It looks like the guy in the white F-150 barely makes the offramp and doesn't stop to help…

Why Chipotle Just Banned Guns

just curious, you guys pick all those spent shells up after right? or does the trash fairy pick that shit up?

For the record, yes, I pick up after myself and a bit more when I go shooting. By the looks of it most of the rednecks out there do not though.

Heading up the road tonight came upon a white roller for a guide. Let me know if it's yours.

Went to do a Fromme ride tonight and check out LOC as I cannot remember the last time I was on it. 2 + years for sure. I ended up breaking my 135mm Maxle. I'm afraid I won't be able to find one local before Thursday. Does anyone have a spare one I could borrow for the race if I can't get one? I'm going to be calling all the local shops tomorrow but not sure if anyone will have one in stock. Thanks in advance and B Team Loves you!

"Have a good one."

Naw…heard that more than a few times growin' up…from pure BC folks

Now I'm stuck. I grew up in California and spent the last 5 years in the Pacific Northwest, 4 of those in BC (8) . When I first read the question I thought brights sounded more correct, but now I remember knowing them as highbeams when I lived in California. These little things must be the reason all my friends back home keep telling me I sound Canadian every time I go home to visit.

What have you crazy Canucks done to me?

Fromme 2013 Conditions (merged)

Rode 7th last w/e and there was snow until you get to the first woodwork. Someone had chain sawed the dead fall but another rather large tree had fallen right at the start that will require a chain saw to take care of it. Once past the snow the trail is perfect all the way to Leppard. I'd be surprised if the snow lingers for much longer it was melting pretty quickly. It's worth it to make it up there now.

Rode it last night and the snow is gone except for under the blow down at the start. There are still 3 spots that need to be cleared, the first 2 are right off the start and then another spot another 50m down the trail. I brought my hand saw but all the easy stuff had already been cleared. Only chain saw work is left.

Like above post, still def worth the climb. The long log ride at the end is running great!
