BC Bike Race route announced

We always make changes…to include the funnest trails but it also has to work as a proper loop…

Makes sense. I don't think it would really be suitable anyway.

No matter what he does it will not be enough; he has inherited a massive deficit + two wars + a health care system in crisis + elected during econmic down turn x unrealistic expectations= doomed to failure.

I think a lot of riders were expecting crappy weather based on the overcast valley. Great for us though as the mountain wasn't very busy (unlike last year) and the dirt was nice.

I think I saw you!:)

We only rode for a few hours; we didn't get up there untill about 1:15 and then I had shifter cable issues, followed by a flat (first one this season). The conditions were much better than I had expected; the heavy fog and light rain of the last few days made for great dirt.

They were working on a bit of grooming last weekend when we were up but I don't expect them to be much improved. We will be up there tommorrow providing the weather is not too shitty.

I stepped on Colin Firth's foot in the Stanley Park Aquarium gift store.

Monte St. Anne - Steve Smith ok?

Hopefully he doesn't let that get to him; in the last few races, when he hasn't crashed, he has just been a place or two off the podium.

Badass!

I'll hit up Mt. Washington on Friday and Sunday…

We will be up there on sunday. There is some sort of food thing going on that my wife is interested in so I may not be riding too much.
